This Apollo Group TV review looks at the service the way a careful buyer should: what it offers, what users like, where the risks are, and how to make sure you are on a genuine site before you pay. Apollo Group TV is one of the most searched IPTV names in North America, and that popularity has a downside: dozens of copycat sites now use the same name.
We run an IPTV service ourselves, so we know what separates a reliable provider from a risky one. We kept this review fair, and at the end we show how Apollo Group TV compares with Mom IPTV so you can decide with all the facts.
Key takeaways
- Apollo Group TV is known for US and Canadian channels plus a movie and series library.
- Many sites copy its name; check the domain age, payment options and refund terms first.
- Prices and plans vary between sellers, so verify the offer before paying.
- If you want to test before you pay, Mom IPTV offers a free 24-hour trial.

What Is Apollo Group TV?
Apollo Group TV is a subscription IPTV service. Like every IPTV provider, it delivers live channels and on-demand content over the internet instead of cable or satellite. You install a player on your device, sign in with the details the provider gives you, and stream.
The service became popular with cord-cutters in the United States and Canada. Its focus is North American entertainment, news and sports, with a catalogue of movies and series on top. It is usually watched on Amazon Firestick, Android TV boxes and phones.
If you are new to the technology, the Wikipedia article on IPTV explains how internet television works in simple terms.
Why So Many Apollo Group TV Sites Exist
Search for the name and you will find many websites with similar logos, similar colors and very different prices. This happens with almost every well-known IPTV brand. Resellers, imitators and outright scammers copy the name to catch people who are searching for it.
The result is confusion. Two people can both say they “use Apollo” and have completely different experiences, because they bought from different sellers. That is why any honest Apollo Group TV review has to start with one warning: the site you buy from matters as much as the service name.
How to check if an Apollo Group TV site is genuine
- Look up the domain age. A free WHOIS lookup such as ICANN Lookup shows when the domain was registered. A site created last month is a warning sign.
- Read the refund policy. A real provider tells you when and how you can get your money back.
- Check the contact options. Email plus a chat or messaging channel is normal. A single web form is not enough.
- Compare prices. If a price is far below the market, ask yourself how the seller pays for servers and support.
- Search for recent user feedback that names the exact domain, not only the brand.
Apollo Group TV Channels and Content
Users mainly choose Apollo for North American content. The line-up generally covers the big US and Canadian networks, local news, entertainment channels, kids channels and sports networks. A movie and series section sits next to the live channels.
International coverage is more limited than on providers built for a global audience. If you want channels from the UK, France, the Arab world, Africa, Latin America or Asia in the same subscription, check the channel list carefully before paying.
For comparison, a Mom IPTV subscription includes 18,000+ live channels from 98+ countries and 121,000+ movies and series, with an EPG (TV guide) and catch-up on many channels.
Apollo Group TV Pricing and Plans
We do not publish a fixed Apollo Group TV price in this review, and here is why: the price changes between sellers and between months. Some sites offer monthly plans, others only longer plans. Some include one connection, others several.
When you compare plans, focus on these questions:
- How many devices can watch at the same time?
- Is there a free or low-cost trial?
- What happens if the service stops working: refund, credit or nothing?
- Which payment methods are accepted, and are they traceable?
As a reference point, Mom IPTV pricing starts at $14 for one month on one device, and every plan has the full channel list and a money-back guarantee of up to 45 days.
Device Support and Setup
Apollo is mostly used on Android-based devices. Owners of Firestick and Android TV boxes usually install the app with the Downloader tool or use a standard player that accepts an M3U or Xtream Codes login.
Smart TVs, iPhones and computers can also work through third-party players, depending on the login type the seller provides. If you use a Samsung or LG TV, read our guide to IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV.

Is Apollo Group TV Legal and Safe?
Using an IPTV player is legal everywhere. The legal question depends on the rights behind the content and on the laws of your country. We cannot give legal advice, so check the rules where you live and read our guide to legal IPTV providers if you want fully licensed options.
On the safety side, the main risk is payment. Use a payment method that offers buyer protection when possible, never send ID documents to an IPTV seller, and avoid sites that ask for gift cards.
