What Is CatchON TV?
CatchON is an internet TV subscription that streams live channels and video on demand through an app or a compatible IPTV player. Like any IPTV service, it replaces a cable box or dish with your broadband connection. If you are new to the technology, our article IPTV vs internet TV explains the basics.
The brand is mostly discussed by viewers in North America and Europe. Its main appeal is the mix of live entertainment, news, sports and a catalogue of films and series in one subscription.
How to Make Sure You Are on the Real Site
A popular name attracts imitators. You may find several websites with similar names and logos. Before you pay, run these checks.
- Use the domain that the service itself promotes in its official channels.
- Check the domain registration date on ICANN Lookup; very new domains deserve extra caution.
- Read the refund policy and terms of service.
- Make sure support answers by email and at least one messaging app.
- Look for recent feedback that mentions the exact website, not just the brand.
Channels and Content
The service typically offers entertainment, news, sports, kids and documentary channels, with a focus on English-language content, plus a section for movies and TV series. The precise channel list depends on the package and can change, so ask for it before you subscribe and check that your must-have channels are included.
If your household watches channels from several countries, compare coverage carefully. Mom IPTV includes 18,000+ live channels from 98+ countries and 121,000+ movies and series in every plan.
Pricing and Plans
Prices and promotions change during the year, and different sellers may show different offers. That is why this CatchON review does not quote a fixed price. Compare plans on the number of devices, plan length, trial terms and refund conditions rather than on the headline price alone.
For reference, Mom IPTV prices start at $14 for one month on one device, with every channel included on every plan.
Device Compatibility and Setup
Most users watch CatchON on Amazon Firestick, Android TV boxes and Android phones. Other devices, such as Smart TVs, iPhones and computers, can work through compatible IPTV players depending on the login provided.
On Firestick, the usual method is to install the player with the Downloader app, then sign in. The process is the same one we describe in our setup guide for Mom IPTV.
Streaming Quality
Quality depends on the provider’s servers and on your connection. For a fair test, watch during the evening and during a live match. Your connection should offer about 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Check it on Speedtest before you judge any service.
